Precision Printer Model P2002-2

Introduction
AEM precision printer Model P2002-2 is specially designed for high precision screen/stencil printing of electrode on ceramic bars on pallets. The basic framework is built on a precision four-pole die set to maintain the precision position of pallets during printing. The pallet is mounted on the mechanical and vacuum hold-down fixture on the middle plate in the die set. Under the hold-down fixture there is a precision x-y table for alignment. The z-axis is controlled by a servo motor system to ensure accurate snap-off. When the ceramic bar increases its thickness during the build up process, the snap-off can be maintained by simply setting of a micrometer. The printing head is controlled by an air-hydraulic power system to keep the printing and flooding strokes smooth and precise. The printing pressure is controlled by the air pressure regulator. The printing speed is controlled by a hydraulic control valve. A PLC is used to control the operation of the printer. Click here for a printable version.
